Sexual Assault (NSVRC)

The National Sexual Violence Resource Center collects information on national and state organizations that have a goal to eliminate sexual violence. Because this resource center collects information from every other anti-sexual assault organization that is present nationwide, the events that are listed can range in topics from survivor support, sexual offender information, campus sexual awareness, and even LGBT information. This allows the public to have open access to a wide variety of information that the topic sexual assault encompasses. Conferences and projects are included if anyone would like to learn through a hands-on experience. With these projects are articles that include research on how to prevent sexual violence, survivor information about their rights, education on rape, and different settings where sexual assault can occur.

In the news section, there is only current information included. Each piece of information comes from different places. Some are from research articles that are done in the field and published. Others are social press releases that can be found on the news or in newspapers. There are also resources included in case anyone would like to do anymore research into a specific sexual assault topic such as child abuse, colleges, military, elderly, and many more. A library can also help to narrow down any searches that anyone is interested in along with any links that could relate to a specific topic.
